April 6th, 1986 marked the first day of business for Carpet Care Plus Inc. Kenny started with cleaning equipment and a new van, complete with the Carpet Care Plus logo. The business was being run from the lower level of Kenny’s house.

At this time Kenny’s father had just retired from Armco Steel and offered to help get the business off the ground. He called his friends from work, fishing buddies and relatives to promote Carpet Care Plus and they were off and running. Kenny’s dad worked with him everyday from daylight to dark for the first 1 ½ years and never cashed a single paycheck. He was the core reason Carpet Care Plus was able to survive the first, and toughest year, of business. Thank you Ken Fairall Sr!

In September of 1987 Kenny was able to hire his first employee. Kenny wanted him to be as educated in cleaning as he was, so he paid for him to attend numerous schools on carpet and upholstery cleaning.

Adding a second technician also allowed the company to become a two truck company and they were busy everyday!

In October of 1991 the company purchased a building at their current location on Creamery Rd.

Over the years the company has continued to grow with more and more employees and with this growth they added an addtional 4 vehicle garage.

By April 2000, they had outgrown their building and began construction on a new 6000 square foot, 10 vehicle shop with 1000 square feet of office space next door to the original space.

The team moved into their new offices in December 2000. As they have grown, they have added furnace and duct cleaning, water damage clean-up and repairs, mold remediation, rug cleaning, tile and grout cleaning, among many other service they have continued to add.

Zach Paisley starts working at Carpet Care Plus as a carpet cleaning technician, devoting his time and energy full force into his job.

Zach Paisley promoted to Floor Care Department Manager, learning the tricks of the trade, increasing his education and becoming IICRC certified in carpet cleaning, upholstery & fabric cleaning, odor control, spot removal, water damage remediation, applied structural damage, journeyman textile cleaning, and education in natural stone care.

Kenny felt very fortunate to have his daughter and son-in-law come to work at Carpet Care Plus after graduating college.

He mentored them in the business and by July of 2013 they took over the day-to-day operations.

Kenny Fairall, Ashlee & Scott Kennedy sell company to Zach Paisley.

This marks the date of Kenny’s retirement. Zach is honored and committed to the business, and has 13 years field experience. He will continue to run Carpet Care Plus, Inc. as a family based business, with his wife of 11 years, Brianne by his side, and a business the community can count on.
